New York State DOH Establishes Online Portal for Medicaid Provisional Temporary Provider Enrollment for the COVID-19 Crisis
The New York State Medicaid program has replaced previously offered emergency enrollment options relating to the COVID-19 pandemic with an online portal for Provisional Temporary Provider Enrollment. The portal checks to see if the provider you are seeking to enroll is already enrolled in the New York State Medicaid program. There is a “Help functionality built into the portal that can assist along the way. The portal will ensure that no pertinent information is missing.
The application can be completed on a mobile device or tablet and is available 24-hours a day.
Provisional Temporary Provider Enrollment is available only for the following categories of service:
- Nurse LPN – 0521
- Nurse RN – 0522
- Nurse Practitioner – 0469
- Physician – 0460
- Physician Assistant (Registered) – 0462
