About O&A and EndDD.org
Just a few seconds—not a long amount of time. Yet, when you’re behind a steering wheel and your eyes leave the road—just a single second can change your life and the lives of countless others. One second is all it takes to be distracted.
Thousands of people have been killed by distracted drivers; hundreds of thousands more injured. Research shows that talking on a cell phone quadruples your risk of an accident (about the same as drunk driving). That risk doubles again, if you are texting. You can help stop distracted driving.
Since 2012, our law firm has been an active volunteer participant in the End Distracted Driving Student Awareness Initiative, a national campaign educating students about the dangers of distracted driving. We are committed to this important safety program and proudly announce that more than 14,000 students across upstate New York have heard this important safety message from our team of volunteer attorneys. Our work isn’t finished yet!
The presentation is developed by EndDD.org in conjunction with The Casey Feldman Foundation. It addresses the very real dangers of driving distracted and the destructive consequences that come from that simple act we do hundreds of time each day – sending a text.
Join the ranks of 325,000 people across the country who have heard this important safety message! Contact us to bring this important safety program to your school or community group.
