Nicholas is an Associate in our Business Law and Transactions and Health Law departments. In his practice, he focuses on construction law, and business law topics that include commercial litigation, compliance, creditors and debtor’s rights, data security and privacy, and transactional and regulatory advice for business and health care clients. Nicholas previously worked as a Legal Clerk to an Impartial Hearing Officer for New York State Special Education cases, assisting in drafting and issuing decisions and various orders.
While in law school, Nicholas was a legal intern at the Albany County Department of Law, working within their Department of Children, Youth, and Families. There, he assisted in researching and drafting of various orders. He also served as an Intern to Corporate Counsel for Beech-nut Nutrition Company, where, in addition to assisting Beechnut’s Corporate Counsel manage a contract repository, he researched legal issues including data privacy, corporate governance, b-corporation standards, and litigation topics including foreign object and equal employment opportunity claims.
