Criminal Defense – O&A In The News

Our Criminal Defense team handles many of the Capital District’s high profile criminal defense cases.

Attorneys Steve Coffey and Michael McDermott are widely recognized in the Capital District as two of its premiere criminal defense trial lawyers. They have justly earned their reputations through representation of thousands of clients in both street crime cases (e.g., DWI, assault, sex abuse, murder) and highly complex white collar cases (e.g., Medicaid fraud, embezzlement).

Steve has secured dozens of acquittals in his 35-year practice of Criminal Defense. His knowledge, insight and analytical skill have translated easily from the court room to the media. Local television and radio stations have looked to him as a regular commentator for highly publicized local and national criminal cases.
