Introducing our Trusts, Estates, and Elder Law Department
The Trusts, Estates, and Elder Law Department of O’Connell and Aronowitz recently published the inaugural issue of its newsletter. The newsletter will be published on a quarterly basis in order to provide updates on developing issues concerning estate planning, estate administration, and elder law.
In addition to discussing changing areas of the law, the newsletter will include updates on the firm’s involvement in the community and biographical information on the department’s attorneys. An “Ask the Lawyer” feature will provide quick and accessible legal facts on a range of relevant topics. The newsletter will also include an Upcoming Events schedule to inform the reader about future speaking engagements for the department’s attorneys and other activities involving our firm.
The Fourth Quarter 2011 issue, available here, discusses recent changes to estate tax law, developments in Medicaid estate recovery law, and why one should have a power of attorney.
