Personal Injury Team Wins $800K Verdict for Client Injured on Trampoline
Personal Injury attorneys Pamela Nichols and Steve Coffey won an $800K verdict in Saratoga County Supreme Court for a client seriously injured on a trampoline. Suffering a severely fractured left foot from a fall, the injured woman, 53-years-old, would ultimately require four surgeries after the May 2012 incident. The case, heard before Judge Thomas Nolan, represents a significant victory as trampoline-related injury cases are exceptionally difficult on which to prevail.
“From gyms to backyards to indoor parks, trampolines are promoted for exercise and fun. But the serious injuries reported nationwide reveal a very real danger,” said firm Managing Partner Pamela Nichols who tried the case along with Steve Coffey. The verdict was featured in The Saratogian newspaper.
