Matt Jackson was posthumously honored by the Central New York and Capital Region Bankruptcy Bar Associations as recipient of the 2019 Nicholas S. Priore Advocacy and Professionalism Award. Presented at the  Annual Bankruptcy Conference at the Otesaga Resort Hotel in Cooperstown on October 25th, the annual award is presented to a bankruptcy attorney practicing in Northern District of New York who demonstrates skilled advocacy on behalf of clients while maintaining a spirit of collegiality and professionalism.

Our Firm still mourns Matt’s untimely death in March 2019 after a courageous battle with cancer but we continue to celebrate the way he lived his life with a deep commitment to his family, clients, the legal profession and the community.

O&A Partner Will Berglund serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Capital Region Bankruptcy Bar Association and has served on their Board for the past 8 years. The award presentation is part of the CNYBBA and CRBBA annual 2-day conference.
