Danielle Holley Named O&A Shareholder

O’Connell and Aronowitz, one of the Capital District’s largest broad service law firms, announces the promotion of attorney Danielle E. Holley to Shareholder.

With the Firm since 2013, Danielle represents clinical laboratories, long-term care facilities and physician group practices on litigation, operational and compliance issues, fraud and abuse, HIPAA and regulatory matters.

“Danielle has already been recognized by our clients and the industries as one of the most knowledgeable attorneys in the country on clinical laboratory issues,” said O’Connell and Aronowitz President Jeffrey J. Sherrin.

Well versed in several major practice areas of the Firm including Fraud and Abuse, the False Claims Act and bio-ethical issues, Danielle has guided clients through complex reorganizations and affiliations.

“Danielle is a go-to person on so many matters because of the breadth of her knowledge and experience. It is the Firm’s privilege to have her as a Shareholder,” Sherrin said.

While in law school, Danielle obtained her M.S. in Bioethics at the Alden March Bioethics Institute at Albany Medical Center and received a concentration with honors in health law. She obtained her B.A. in Political Philosophy, Policy and Law from the University of Virginia.  Danielle was a clinical ethics fellow at Albany Medical College, currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Cerebral Palsy Associations Guardianship Corporation, and is a member of the Institutional Review Board at Albany Medical Center, where she is also an Assistant Adjunct Professor.

Danielle has been named to the Upstate New York Rising Stars List by Super Lawyers, a designation that recognizes attorneys under 40 years old and out of law school 10 years or less.
