Kurt Bratten accepts award presented by The Legal Project at the Annual Pro Bono Awards Luncheon

Our firm was honored to be among the companies and individuals recognized today at The Legal Project’s Annual Pro Bono Awards Luncheon, commemorating 23 years of service by the not-for-profit organization founded by the Capital District Women’s Bar Association.

The event, held at the Century House, honors those volunteers and community partners who have gone above and beyond to promote access to justice in the community and to help others.

Partner Kurt Bratten represented O’Connell and Aronowitz in accepting the Barry A. Gold Law Firm Leadership Award which was presented in recognition of a law firm that has made a significant difference over the past year in The Legal Project’s programs. Meredith Savitt is one the founders of the Legal Project and also serves on its Board of Directors.

“Since we as a firm so value giving back to the community, there is no more significant award than to be recognized as a pro bono leader,” Bratten said.
