Attorney Florence M. Richardson Joins O’Connell and Aronowitz

Attorney Florence M. Richardson brings decades of matrimonial law experience to O’Connell and Aronowitz

Albany law firm O’Connell and Aronowitz is pleased to announce that attorney Florence M. Richardson has joined the broad service firm as Of Counsel. She brings her extensive experience to the firm’s Family & Matrimonial department.

Before joining O’Connell and Aronowitz, Ms. Richardson was principal at Kahn and Richardson, an Albany law firm dedicated exclusively to working on matrimonial matters for clients across the Capital District. Since being admitted to practice in 1984, Flo has focused solely on divorce, custody, prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, child support, spousal support and equitable distribution.

“If you practice family and matrimonial law in upstate New York you recognize Flo Richardson as one of the leading and most well-respected practitioners in this field,” said Jeffrey J. Sherrin, President of O’Connell and Aronowitz.

“We are honored to have Flo join the firm and together with our attorneys Will Berglund and Kelly Mikullitz create one of the most dynamic family and matrimonial law practices in the state,” Sherrin said. “We look forward to 2018 being a great year for the firm and our clients.”

Flo is a member of the New York State Matrimonial Practice Advisory and Rules Committee. She has been named to the Upstate New York Super Lawyers list since 2015, a distinction earned by less than 5% of attorneys in that state. She is a member of the American and New York State Bar Associations (Family Law Sections), the Albany and Schenectady County Bar Associations, the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York, Capital District Chapter and the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association.
