ATTORNEYS APPOINTED TO NEW YORK STATE BAR ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES

O’Connell and Aronowitz is pleased to announce that five of our attorneys have been appointed by NYSBA President Glenn Lau-Kee to committees of the New York State Bar Association. They are: Pamela Nichols – Law Practice Management Committee; Nancy Sciocchetti – Committee on Women in the Law; Michael McDermott – Special Committee on Youth Courts; John Musacchio – Committee on Disability Rights, and Caitlin Monjeau – Committee on Animals and the Law. We applaud their volunteer work in support of the legal profession.

Pam Nichols is Managing Partner and practices in our Personal Injury Litigation department. In addition to the New York State Bar Association, she is a member of Albany County Bar Association, Albany County Bar Association: Elder Law Section, the Women’s Bar Association, the Injury Board and American Association for Justice.

Nancy Sciocchetti is Supervising Partner of our Health Law practice. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Saratoga County Bar Association and is Chair of the Law Day Committee. Nancy is also a member of the National Health Lawyers Association, Albany County Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association.

Mike McDermott is Partner and trial attorney in our Litigation practice. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Defenders Association, Albany County Bar Association, Saratoga County Bar Association and Capital District Trial Lawyers Association.

John Musacchio is an Associate in our Litigation practice. He is a member of the American Bar Association, New York State Trial Lawyers Association, Albany County Bar Association, Capital District Trial Lawyers Association ,Italian American Bar Association and the Northern District of New York Federal Court Bar Association.

Caitlin Monjeau is an Associate in our Health Law practice. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Albany County Bar Association and the Capital District Women’s Bar Association.

The New York State Bar Association is the oldest and largest voluntary state bar organization in the nation. For more than 135 years, it has shaped the development of the law, educated and informed the profession and the public, and responded to the demands of a changing society.
