At O'Connell and Aronowitz, we understand that the real estate process can be stressful. This is why we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and communication to our clients for smooth and successful closings.

Our Residential Real Estate practice handles hundreds of residential bank closings and sale and purchase contract transactions each year. Working with brokers, builders, developers, investors, purchasers and sellers, we handle closings in our Albany, Saratoga and Plattsburgh offices.

Our practice extends throughout the Capital Region and Upstate New York. We coordinate all aspects of real estate transactions:

• drafting and reviewing of Purchase and Sale Contracts;
• negotiations with other attorneys;
• monitoring of contingency and other contract dates;
• reviewing inspection and title reports;
• drafting all closing documents;
• conducting and attending the closing with our client(s).

Our attorneys represent many lending institutions that do business in the State of New York. Our attorneys and closing coordinators work closely with our clients, other counsel, real estate agents, the lender, mortgage broker, and loan processor throughout the transaction in order to facilitate an efficient closing process. Our firm is examining counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Company.

The department also handles short-sales and all aspects of debt relief and distressed debtor matters related to residential real estate.
