O’Connell and Aronowitz offers a Summer Associate Program for second and third year law students interested in obtaining experience in the many practice areas of the Firm. Each applicant must show legal acumen and possess analytical ability, responsibility, excellent writing skills and be a proficient communicator.

The Firm is committed to affording a qualified summer associate the opportunity to grow in the practical and professional aspects of being a lawyer. Our summer associates are mentored by and work closely with the Firm’s members and associates enhancing the applicant’s experience. Applicants will responsible for a substantial amount of legal writing and extensive research. The program begins in May and continues throughout the summer. In some cases, the program may be extended into the school year. The Firm has historically extended permanent offers to summer associates who successfully participate and excel in the program, based upon availability.
