At O’Connell and Aronowitz, we are committed to our community. To this end, many of our attorneys and professional staff are involved in local Not-For-Profit organizations and hold leadership positions. As a group, we often come together to raise funds and awareness for various charitable, civic and religious organizations that are close to our hearts. O’Connell and Aronowitz has been recognized for their long-standing commitment to community service and believes in the need to serve the communities in which all of us live and work.

Komen Race for the Cure
Many the employees of the firm participated in this 5K walk to support the cause and to raise awareness for the need for Breast Cancer funding and research.

Bike Safety Day
The firm operated a booth which educated families on the need for safety while riding a bike. Demonstrations included helmet fittings and general education.

Albany County Bar Association Walk/Run Against Domestic Violence
O’Connell and Aronowitz regularly participates in the annual Run Against Domestic Violence. Proceeds from the Run are donated to local agencies that assist victims of domestic violence.

The Lasagna Throwdown
Our very own home grown fundraiser! Several employees prepared their own lasagna and competed for the title of Best Lasagna. All proceeds were donated to benefit the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation which supports victims of this neurological movement disorder.
