Mr. Hart is a partner with our Tax Law, Estates and Trusts, Elder Law, Commercial/ Corporate and Real Estate practices. Mr. Hart represents clients before the U.S. Tax Court, the IRS and the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. He represents fiduciaries and family members in Surrogate's court. He supervises all aspects of estate and trust administration, and drafts estate-planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and living wills. He advises business owners on entity selection, acquisitions, buy-sell agreements, dissolution, and compensation agreements. He has given seminars to local community groups on trusts and estate planning. Mr. Hart is a graduate of Widener Law School, a cum laude graduate of Siena College and a cum laude graduate of the Masters in Taxation program at the University at Albany. He is a member of the New York State, Pennsylvania and Albany County Bar associations and the Trusts, Estates and Elder Law section of the New York State Bar Association and the Trusts, Estates and Taxation section of the Albany County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in U.S. Tax Court, NYS and Local courts. He holds a license as a Certified Public Accountant in New York and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
