Ms. Dennis is a partner in our Plattsburgh office and is active in the practice of family, matrimonial, criminal, estate, and real estate law. She is a contributing writer to On the Case, a NYS Bar Association publication. She is also a member of the New York State Surrogate Decision Making Committee. Ms. Dennis participates in the annual Decision Making Day program of the Elder Law Section of the NYS Bar Association, presenting on topics such as the preparation of wills, living wills, health care proxys, and powers of attorney.

    An active member of the local community, Ms. Dennis is an adjunct faculty at Clinton Community College, serves on the Law Guardian Panel for Clinton County, and is on the Board of Trustees of the Clinton County Historical Association and the Child Care Coordinating Council of the North Country. While in law school, she was a founding member of the Environmental Outlook, a journal dedicated to land use, zoning, and environmental issues. She also worked with the New York State Bill Drafting Commission as a Legal Aid for Head Counsel to the Commission; and law clerk for New York Supreme Court Justice Joseph Teresi.
